Personal opinion: stray animal killing

Well, today I'm going to be writing about my personal opinion on the subject of killing stray dogs to prevent sanitary problems and animal overpopulation. 

I'm totally against it. Firstly, because we as the human race, need to learn to share our environment with the rest of the animal species. We have become, to some extent, in the cancer of the planet earth, always growing, always taking for ourselves. And I hope someday in the future this changes for the good. 

Canine overpopulation can be prevented, with adequate measures based on educational actions. Irresponsible ownership may be the reason number one that causes this species to end on the streets and then allowing uncontrolled breeding of dogs. There are many strategies to control stray dog populations. But whatever the method used, it should be based on an ethical point of view, avoiding animal suffering. Any action that only concentrates on the final result of just killing the animals won't solve the underlying problem.  

Stray animals are usually the unfortunate types who get dumped by cruel people or are ones who get lost and can't find their way home. I think the overpopulation of stray animals it's a problem that can be addressed by adopting and supporting animal organizations. 

Nothing is going to solve the dog overpopulation problem except the capacity of humans to understand the situation and take actions reducing the born of unwanted puppies and become responsible owners avoiding the abandoning of their pets.
